Terms of Service

Last updated August 27, 2026

1. Private household use

Family Dashboard (the “Service,” available at disterdick.tech) is a private application operated for a single household’s scheduling and organization. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial household use only.

2. Authorized access

Access is limited to household members whose Google accounts appear on an approved list. You agree to sign in only with an account you are authorized to use, to keep your account secure, and not to share access with anyone outside the household. We may add or remove authorized accounts at any time.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for its intended household purposes and in compliance with applicable law. You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its data, disrupt or interfere with its operation, reverse engineer it other than as permitted by law, or use it to store or transmit unlawful content.

4. Calendar synchronization and your responsibility

The Service can display, create, update, and synchronize events with your Google Calendar when you connect your Google account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the schedules and events you create or change, and for reviewing them in Google Calendar. Automatic synchronization is a convenience and may not always reflect the most current state of every calendar; you should not rely on it as the sole record of important events.

5. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party services, including Google (for sign-in and Google Calendar) and PlayMetrics (for youth sports schedule information). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for third-party services or their availability, accuracy, or content.

6. Availability and no warranty

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available, and we may change or discontinue it at any time.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service and the people who operate it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any lost data, missed events, or scheduling errors, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Because the Service is provided privately and at no charge for household use, you use it at your own discretion and risk.

8. Termination

We may suspend or end your access to the Service at any time, including by removing your account from the approved list. You may stop using the Service at any time and may revoke its access to your Google account through your Google Account settings.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
